Positive COVID-19 cases in Medstead, Luseland schools
Living Sky School Division (LSSD) is reporting two positive cases of COVID-19 at rural schools within the division.
The cases were diagnosed on January 21, in individuals at Medstead Central School and Luseland School, located around 75 km north and 140 km southwest of the Battlefords respectively.
LSSD has been working closely with public health staff to ensure necessary measures are on place and anyone in close contact with the individuals has been notified. Both schools have received a deep cleaning/sanitizing and remain open at this time.
Students, parents and staff are asked to continue taking precautions and monitoring for symptoms. To protect the privacy of the individuals, no further details are being shared at this time.
