SaskTel provinding internet and MaxTV upgrades in the northeast

SaskTel MaxTV stream is coming to more communities in the region as well as upgrades to Internet speeds.

The MaxTV service is coming to 27 more communities around the province including Canora, Kelvington, Lintlaw, Sheho, and Wadena.

MaxTV stream is a next generation entertainment platform that combines the best of traditional television with advanced features and content from Netflix and YouTube.

Internet expansion will be in 18 more communities in rural Saskatchewan including a few in the northeast. Kelvington, Lintlaw, Margo, Rama, Sheho, and Wadena will all get upgrades.

“Reliable Internet access continues to play an important role in our daily life and is increasingly paramount in managing a successful economy,” Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel, said. “These expansions represent SaskTel’s ongoing commitment to provide the benefits associated with reliable internet services to residents across the province.”

The upgrades come with unlimited usage, in home Wifi, and 24-7 help desk support in the monthly price.
