Sasktel outage planned in Biggar, Perdue, Asquith

Saskatchewan RCMP are asking residents in Biggar, Perdue and Asquith to go to their local detachments for police service during a planned power outage tonight.

SaskTel has announced their Internet, wireless and landline services will not be available between midnight and 6:00 a.m. in those three communities. Residents of Biggar, Perdue and Asquith in need of police services during this period will have to go to their closest RCMP detachment to request police services.

There’s a plan in place for personnel to be available and confirmed COVID-19 measures are in place to receive people safely at these locations.

Biggar and Perdue residents are asked to go to the Biggar RCMP Detachment, located at 109 8th Avenue West in Biggar, SK. Asquith residents are asked to go to the Delisle RCMP Detachment, located at 201 1st Street West in Delisle, SK.
