Raiders schedule released, will play at either 4 p.m. or 8 p.m. in Regina hub

The Prince Albert Raiders finally know when they’re going to be playing this year.

The WHL released its East Division schedule on Wednesday with the Raiders beginning their season on opening night March 12 at 8 p.m. against the hub centre hosts, Regina Pats.

This year, the WHL East Division will consist of seven teams as the Swift Current Broncos will rejoin the East Division. The Brandon Wheat Kings and the Winnipeg ICE from Manitoba will join the rest of the Saskatchewan-based teams in the Raiders, the Pats, the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Saskatoon Blades.

The Raiders will face each of their six opponents four times in the season schedule.

March 12, Raiders vs. Regina Pats, 8 p.m.
