Thieves target police and corrections museum
Prince Albert police are investigating a break-in at the city’s Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections.
The thieves broke in early Tuesday morning and made off with a total of seven items. Museum manager Michelle Taylor explained the museum has been around since 1985, and to her knowledge, this was the first time it has even been broken into.
“It is very disheartening that people don’t value the history of the area,” she said.
Items in the museum date back to the 1800’s and so are essentially irreplaceable.
