North Stars announce trio of cross-Canada signings

Apr 26, 2021 | 4:00 PM

The Battlefords North Stars have announced a number of new player signings over the last week, including three from across Canada.

Head coach Brayden Klimosko said it’s always a positive sign to see players from around the county want to come and suit up for the North Stars.

“It shows that our name is getting out there a bit with the success we’ve had the last couple of years, and it’s nice to add a few of these guys who are hungry to come join the team,” Klimosko said. “We’re excited to see everyone come together, come training camp.”

Milo Schneidmiller

Forward Milo Schneidmiller finished top 10 in Western States Hockey League scoring during the 2019-20 season, registering a team best 41 goals and 83 points in just 49 games played. Schneidmiller’s totals were 16 more goals and 34 points more than his next closest teammate.

Last year the product of Calgary, AB scored two points in four games with the White Rock Whalers of the Pacific Junior Hockey League, prior to the cancellation of the hockey season.
