Three COVID-19 cases at catholic schools in North Battleford

The Light of Christ Catholic School Division reported three positive cases of COVID-19 at schools in North Battleford this week.

Two cases were from St. Mary School, while the third occurred in an individual at JP II Collegiate High School. Due to privacy concerns, no further details of the three diagnosed are being shared.

Moving forward, Light of Christ Catholic School Division will be releasing all reported cases from division schools on Friday. The division is reminding parents, students, and staff to continue to be diligent in performing daily health screenings and other preventative measures related to the pandemic. Information on the Government of Saskatchewan’s Safe School Plan is available online.

As of April 30, there are 31,098 positive cases of COVID-19 in the province, with 38,181 recoveries and 491 deaths. The number of hospitalizations has dropped to 173, while 427,739 vaccines have been administered.
