Thief caught red handed, police return stolen items to rightful owners
A 20-year-old man is facing a handful of charges in connection to a break-and-enter and vehicle theft in Prince Albert’s Crescent Acres neighbourhood.
Just before 1 a.m. Sunday, police located a vehicle left running in the middle of the street with the doors open, in the area around Damour Terrace.
The vehicle had been stolen from inside the garage of a nearby residence and a break-and-enter had occurred inside the home. Several items had been stolen, including a wallet, a bike and tools.
Approximately one hour later, police located the suspect, riding a bike near McIntosh Drive and Fourth St. E. He was arrested for breach of court conditions.
