Prince Albert Police renew call for help solving historical missing persons case

Jul 28, 2021 | 2:00 PM

Forty one years have now passed since Robert “Bud” Wiggins was last seen, and Prince Albert police are still hoping someone has information that may bring his family closure.

Wiggins, who has connections in the Kinistino area, disappeared July 28, 1980 at the age of 29.

He was last seen just before sunrise after getting a ride to a residence in the 500 block of 11th St. E. Police believe he was a victim of foul play.

Much like they did last year, police provided this photo of Robert Wiggins. (Prince Albert Police Service)

Prince Albert Police continue to actively investigate and are urging anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Robert Wiggins to come forward.

Members of the public can contact either the Prince Albert Police Service or Crimes Stoppers.
