P.A. Crime Stoppers seeks info on school playground arsonist

Prince Albert Crime Stoppers has been publicizing an image of a person they say is a suspect in the arson attack on the playground equipment at Ecole Vickers last week.

However, the image was later removed from the Crime Stoppers Facebook page. It was not immediately made clear why.

The image taken from a CCTV security camera on the school property shortly before the fire in the early evening of July 28 showed a person walking away from the scene.

However, Crime Stoppers later deleted the image from their Facebook post.

A date stamp on the camera footage showed 5:35 p.m. The fire department responded to the blaze at 5:45 p.m.

The damage from the fire is believed to be around $15,000 according to the Crime Stoppers Facebook post.
