Increased COVID-19 exposure at Marsden business
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning residents who stopped at a business in Marsden, Sask. earlier this month of increased exposure to COVID-19.
The exposure windows for those who patronized Railway Confectionary and Liquor Ltd. on 12 Centre St. are August 12-13 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., August 16-17 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and August 18 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This is due to a person or persons who attended while infectious.
The SHA is suggesting that all individuals in attendance during these dates and times should self-isolate for 14 days and seek testing for COVID-19. Those who’ve received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are given an exception, aside from self-monitoring for symptoms.
Anyone who develops symptoms can call HealthLine 811 or their physician. As of August 22, the active case total for COVID-19 in Saskatchewan is 1,556, there are 94 hospitalizations and the fatality rate for positive cases is 1.1 per cent.
