Mustangs ready for full hockey season
The Melfort Mustangs will once again be hitting the ice at the Northern Lights Palace the year with the rest of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League(SJHL).
While last year was a disappointment for the Mustangs, head coach and GM Trevor Blevins told northeastNOW, they did approach the abbreviated season with as much positivity as possible.
“With all the uncertainty and trying to plan and hopefully go and not go, it was stressful but I thought everyone did a great job, you know, keeping positive through it,” Blevins said.
Looking towards what could possibly be a full season, that will start with the Mustang hockey camp with 75 players taking to the ice on Sept. 3.
