La Ronge RCMP arrest two men on drug-related charges

The La Ronge RCMP have arrested two men from Toronto following a drug seizure on Friday.
According to a media release, the La Ronge RCMP General Investigation Section along with La Ronge RCMP conducted a search of a home on the 500 block of Elders Road. As a result, police seized 81 grams of suspected cocaine, cash and trafficking paraphernalia.
Police arrested Mohamed Abukar Mohamud and Dahir Mahamed from Toronto and charged them with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Both were scheduled to appear in court in La Ronge on Monday and will make their next court appearance on Oct. 25.
