Detour on Highway 5 in Humboldt due to scheduled road work

Motorists in Humboldt will notice a detour in the city starting on Thursday.

The sections of Highway 5 that were dug up as part of the watermain replacement line over the summer will be paved.

To accommodate the work, highway 5 between fourth street and seventh street will be closed for two days.

A detour will be in place in the CIty of Humboldt on Thursday and Friday. (Facebook/City of Humboldt)

The work was originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Oct. 6 but was changed to Thursday, Oct. 7.
