Man from North Battleford area wins $100,000

North Battleford was the site of a second $100,000 win this week.
Sask Lotteries announced the latest Crossword Tripler winner on Friday, which went to Ray Whitcome. According to the release, when Whitcome carefully counted the words he scratched on his Tripler Zing ticket, he stopped when he saw he’d landed 10 words.
“Honestly, I just felt relief,” he said.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders fan added he hopes his team makes it to the Grey Cup, where he plans to cheer them on to victory in person, thanks to his own big win. If the CFL playoffs ultimately do not go the Riders way this year, he said this windfall will go a long way in helping pay off some debt.
