Murder charges laid in connection with a suspicious death

Following investigations of a suspicious death in the Carrot River area, one man has been charged with second-degree murder.
Daven Head, 20, of Red Earth Cree Nation is charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection to the death of 29-year-old Sean McKay.
Under the same investigation, Head was charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of failure to comply with an undertaking.
Head appeared in Nipawin Provincial Court at 11:00 a.m. on Dec 2..
