City council to consider design for new rec centre Monday
Prince Albert city council will get to consider the drawings of the design for the new aquatic and arena centre on Monday.
The City of Prince Albert said the design is 75 per cent complete and if approved, the project team will get the go-ahead for pre-qualifications for contractors for the centre.
“Now that we’ve reached this milestone, the facility has really started to take shape,” said Mayor Greg Dionne. “The latest renderings show the layout and has given life to the main features we’ve been talking about the last several months.”
The City said it’s expected they will break ground on the project this spring.
