29 more COVID-19 hospitalizations, three more deaths in Saskatchewan

There are now 244 hospitalizations in Saskatchewan due to COVID-19, according to the provincial government’s Saturday update. That’s an increase of 29 from Friday’s update. Of the hospitalizations, 26 are receiving intensive care, with three in the North Central.

As far as the inpatients are considered, 17 are in the North Central zone, 24 in the North West, two in the North East, and four in the Far North West.

There were also three more deaths in the province, as that total is now up to 972.

The province also reported 1,483 new cases, a one-day increase of 237.

NITHA numbers

There are 47 new cases to report today in NITHA communities. Of the new cases, five (11 per cent) are not vaccinated; five (11 per cent) are partially vaccinated; 35 (74 per cent) are fully vaccinated; and two (4 per cent) are not ineligible for vaccination.

There are 202 active cases of COVID-19 in NITHA communities.
