The Broncos expanded their winning streak following a trip to Yorkton yesterday.

The first place Broncos added a 3-1 win to their Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) record against the sixth-place Terriers.

The green and gold are now 31-11-0-0 with 62 points for first place in both the Global Ag Risk Solutions division and the SJHL and are 7-3-0-0 in their last 10 games.

Second place Estevan Bruins are only three points behind the Broncos with a 28-7-1-2 record and first place in the Viterra Division followed by the Flin Flon Bombers who are 26-10-0-1 with 53 points and first in the Sherwood Division.

The Broncos were the first to score against the Terriers with Alex Morozoff finding the back of the net midway through the second period with his 12th goal of the season.

The Terriers answered back to start the third period but Samuel Marburg took back the lead nearly two minutes later for his sixth of the season. Rhett Gibson would advance the Broncos lead with his sixth of the season later in the period.

Rayce Ramsay would get the win in net with 28 saves.

With a busy week ahead of them, the Broncos now prepare to take on the Notre Dame Hounds on Jan. 25 at the Elgar Petersen Arena, a rescheduled match for the game that was supposed to take place on Jan. 20.
