Broncos kicking off 28th annual Lottery of Cash

Feb 4, 2022 | 11:24 AM

The Humboldt Broncos are kicking off their biggest annual fundraiser on Monday with multiple prizes up for grabs.

Broncos fans have been supporting the Broncos Lottery of Cash for the past 28 years, marketing manager Rory McGouran told northeastNOW, with funds raised going to developing athletes both on and off the ice.

“Being a nonprofit organization, we rely solely on the support of the province and the hockey community and our goals and responsibilities revolve around guiding our players towards growth and success on and off the ice in academics and athletics and life.”

The Humboldt Broncos organization is always overwhelmed by the support they receive from the hockey community, said McGouran, and they always enjoy hearing the stories of the lotto winners.

This is the first year that any one from across Saskatchewan is able to purchase their tickets online by visiting the Humboldt Broncos website.

Tickets are one for $100 and five for $250 with the early bird deadline on March 4 at 7 p.m. with the $10,000 early bird prize draw taking place the next day.

The main draw for the $100,000 grand prize and nine other cash prizes will take place on April 2 with deadline to purchase tickets on April 1 at 7 p.m. An additional 50/50 add on option is also available this year with a potential prize of $200,000 up for grabs. Tickets are one for $25, 10 for $50 or 100 for $100 and have to be purchased with the main prize ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online at humboldtbroncos.com, at the Broncos office located in the Elgar Petersen Arena from Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as well as during Broncos home games, and by calling 1 (833) 733-2022.
