Woman arrested by Stanley Mission RCMP on multiple warrants

The Stanley Mission RCMP have arrested a woman from Buffalo Narrows after she fled on foot from police.

Police say on Feb. 9 at 10:45 a.m. they stopped a vehicle with the woman inside who then ran from police and was arrested not long after.

A search of her and the vehicle located drugs and weapons, including three illegally modified firearms, ammunition, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, drug and trafficking paraphernalia, a knife and money.

Police said she was also showing signs of impairment.

Mary Rose Daigneault was arrested for one count of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, one count of unsafe storage of a firearm, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, one count of possession of property obtained by a crime less than $5,000, one count of failure to comply with demand, one count of operation of a conveyance while impaired and four counts of failure to comply with release order condition.

Daigneault was also arrested on warrants from the Prince Albert Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, Meadow Lake RCMP and the Buffalo Narrows RCMP.

She appeared in court and has been remanded into custody until Feb. 22, 2022 in Meadow Lake Provincial Court.
