Man arrested outside Meadow Lake for stolen property

Meadow Lake RCMP have arrested a 54-year-old man on multiple counts of stolen property.
On Sunday, police executed a search warrant on a rural property near the City, where multiple items and machinery was seized, including a stolen skid steer and copper wire. As a result, Warren Shkopich was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and two counts of possession of stolen property under $5000.
He has been released from custody to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court at a later date. The detachment said this investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information on stolen property to contact them.
