RCMP say Wollaston Lake man’s death is suspicious

The RCMP is considering a Wollaston Lake man’s death suspicious.

Last Sunday, Jonathon St. Pierre, 24, was taken to the Wollaston Lake Health Centre with unknown injuries.

RCMP officers were dispatched to the health centre and the man was pronounced dead by medical staff shortly after the police arrived.

The cause of death is not yet known. The autopsy will be done Wednesday.

St. Pierre’s family has asked that their privacy please be respected at this time.

The RCMP Major Crime Unit South from Regina and Wollaston Lake RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of Fond du Lac RCMP, Prince Albert and Tisdale Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
