One of 14 men charged following a series of police raids last week had to put up the highest bail of any to appear in court so far.

Daryl Nagy, 25, is charged with three counts of cocaine trafficking and two charges of possessing property obtained by crime.

He stood quietly in the prisoner’s box in Saskatoon Provincial Court as his lawyer and the Crown relayed an agreed set of release conditions to the judge.

Those conditions included that Nagy post $20,000 bail. Before this, most of the men released on bail so far had put up between $2,500 and $5,000 with the exception of  Mark Nowakowski.  Nowakowski, who police have said is the president of the Fallen Saints Motorcycle Club targeted in the Jan. 14 raids, had to put up $10,000 to secure his release ahead of a trial on an aggravated assault charge.
