2-car accident blocks Hwy 3 traffic

No one was seriously hurt in a two-car accident on Highway 3 south of Prince Albert on Tuesday morning.

RCMP officers responded to the scene after they received a call at 7:30 a.m. Two cars collided head-on at about 7:10 a.m. One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the RCMP, weather conditions were a factor in the collision.

Traffic a few kilometres south of the Fenton Ferry turnoff was down to one lane, with RCMP directing traffic. Muskoday Volunteer Fire Department members also responded to the accident.
