Fraud case involving Canada Post moved to Oct. 30

The case involving a North Battleford woman facing charges of defrauding Canada Post has been moved to Oct. 30.

Susan Boyer, 59, is charged with intent to defraud Canada Post of cash money exceeding $5,000 by concealing funds obtained by Canada Post, between Jan. 2011 and Oct. 2015, in North Battleford, confirmed Crown prosecutor Michel Piche.

Her defence lawyer appeared in North Battleford provincial court Monday requesting to remand the case to Mon., Oct. 30 at 1:30 p.m., since more information has been received related to the matter. 

The disclosure in the case involves more than 5,000 pages of material.
