Rockette calendar to be unveiled Friday night

The latest 93.3 Rockette calendar to support the fight against breast cancer is completed and ready for sale.

The 2018 calendar entitled “Hometown Hotness” will be revealed on Friday night and is touted as the best yet according to 93.3 Rock program director Nic Fransoo.

“I’m really excited about this year’s edition of the calendar,” Fransoo said. “We had terrific people inside and out step up to be a part of this year’s project.”

The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group station 93.3 The Rock helped support the project.

All proceeds from this year’s Rockette calendar will once again go to support the fight against breast cancer research.

“The people who are involved in the Rockette calendar do so because they have a connection to breast cancer,” Fransoo said. “Just last year one of our 2017 models had her own cancer scare so it touches everyone.”

The unveiling of the 2018 Rockette calendar will be held at Bennigan’s in North Battleford on Friday night.

“Things kick off at 7 p.m. and it’s going to be great,” Bryan Flannery of The Rock added. “We will start by selling calendar tickets which you can redeem at the show for your Rockette calendar and even get them signed by the models later that evening.”

Flannery will introduce each month’s model at the event.

Only 500 calendars will be sold this year and will be available at Sobeys, Ultra Print, all Discovery Co-op Gas Bar locations in the Battlefords and at CJNB.
