Police are investigating a Friday house fire in Prince Albert, which they say is considered suspicious.

Firefighters and police were called to the 400-block of 12th St. W. in the early-morning hours of April 13. According to the Prince Albert Fire Department, there was “significant smoke and fire coming from the rear of the home” when emergency crews arrived, but firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading further and eventually extinguish the blaze.
