The case of a 31-year-old woman reported missing from North Battleford last month is now being investigated by the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit.

Ashley Morin was last seen in North Battleford July 10, and police said she may be in the company of Alyssa Faye Bear, a 30-year-old woman wanted on outstanding warrants. This week, RCMP said Morin’s disappearance is considered suspicious and their Major Crime Unit North is now assisting with the investigation. Information received by the RCMP said Morin may have been travelling to Lloydminister or Edmonton, though that tip has not been confirmed.

Morin was described as a First Nations woman, approximately 5’2” tall, weighing 110 lbs. She has long black hair and brown eyes, police said, and was last seen wearing grey sweat pants, a black T-shirt with white writing on it, a black hat, and sunglasses.

Anyone with information on Morin’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Saskatchewan RCMP or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
