No suspects in North Battleford Amber Alert case
The subject of an Amber Alert is back with her family following a harrowing incident that began shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday evening.
A six-year-old girl was left in her car seat in the back of a running vehicle when it was stolen from a strip mall in North Battleford. This morning, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Saskatchewan RCMP received information that a vehicle matching the description was parked in a remote, industrial area within the city limits in some bushes.
“Members attended to the area with EMS personnel and located the subject of the Amber Alert inside the vehicle,” RCMP Cpl. Rob King said at a press conference Monday morning. “The child was located conscious and taken to hospital to be examined and reunited with her family.”
The child has since been discharged from the hospital.
