UPDATE: Submerged truck found east of Prince Albert

UPDATE: paNOW has cleared up a few of the questions in regards to the truck found Saturday in the slough off of Highway 302 E.

Prince Albert Deputy Fire Chief Corey Rodgers said the truck’s driver was on a hunting trip, and had simply got stuck. The owner was present when the fire department arrived. The cause of the truck fire is not clear but RCMP say it was not suspicious and likely electrical related.

There are more questions than answers after a truck was found Saturday afternoon partially submerged in a slough, and engulfed in flames
 
The truck was found at a rural property in the Rural Municipality of Prince Albert off of highway 302 E.  The Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the truck around 2:20p.m.  Fire crews extinguished the truck and waited on scene until the vehicle was towed away from the property.
