Three arrested after search warrant, drugs seized

Yesterday the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) arrested three suspects who are now facing several drug-related charges.

The ISET members made the arrests after conducting a search warrant on a home within the 400 block of 19th St. E. around 4:30 p.m.

Officers seized 48.1 grams of methamphetamine, 17.6 grams of marijuana, 5.6 grams of hash oil, six cellphones, a weighing scale, a baton and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

A 40-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman all from Prince Albert were charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property exceeding $5,000 and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.

The man was charged with breaching his probation condition to abstain from drugs and to keep the peace. He is set to appear in court today.
