A suspect in a home invasion involving a firearm was arrested Tuesday after Loon Lake RCMP acted on an anonymous tip.

On Dec. 7, shortly before 4 a.m., police were called to a home on the Ministikwan First Nation after a man was injured, though not severely, during the invasion.

A vehicle was located and police pursued it north towards Pierceland, where it was disabled and four people were taken into custody closer to 6 a.m. that same morning. The four adults are facing numerous charges as well as drug trafficking offences and remain in custody.

After several days of further investigation into the case, Jesse Heathen, 31, was identified as an additional suspect and was actively evading police.
