Crews repairing bridge after ‘failure’ on Hwy 40 crossing outside Battleford

Crews are repairing damage to the crossing over Battle River on Highway 40 just past Telegraph Heights after a “bridge failure” and vehicle collision.

As repairs are made to the west side of the bridge, traffic is limited to one lane, according to the Highway Hotline.

Last night, RCMP closed the bridge for several hours.
