The 2018 Sask Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony has come and gone.

The Saturday ceremony was held at the Alex Dillabough Centre in Battleford, and the room was filled in honouring the 12 individuals, one team, one community and one family entering the Hall this year.

Battleford's RCMP Sgt. Jason Teniuk presented the latest crime report at city hall on Monday, showing overall numbers down for the April to June period compared to the same time last year.

N.B. council welcomes new city manager and leisure services director

The City of North Battleford council welcomed some new members to the city's senior administration roles at its meeting Monday.

The new City Manager Randy Patrick and Leisure Services Director Cheryl DeNeire, who were selected for the positions, participated in council's meeting.
