Better Together project aims to promote healing

Two local women are working on a new initiative — the Battlefords Better Together T-shirt Project — in an effort to connect the older and younger generations in the community, reduce loneliness and improve people's wellbeing.

New reservoir and pumphouse in West Park open

The Town of Battleford had an open house to show off its brand new pumphouse and reservoir in West Park Thursday.

A number of Battleford councillors as well as the project contractors and the town's operations experts were on hand to greet guests during the event.

Privacy commissioner criticizes SHA after more patient records faxed to Kelly’s Computer Works

In his latest probe into misdirected faxes from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) to Kelly’s Computer Works in North Battleford, the provincial privacy czar said it is time for the “agency to get this issue addressed once and for all.”
