A man from Little Pine First Nation faces charges after allegedly running down and killing a pronghorn antelope with his dirt bike Friday.

Maidstone RCMP got a tip about a green dirt bike that chased down the animal, hit it several times and killed it south of Paynton.

It's time to put on your cowboy hats, boots and biggest belt buckle. The 46th Annual Kinsmen Indoor Rodeo is being held in the Civic Centre this weekend, ending today, May 1.

“We like to raise some funds for different community causes,” said Julie Cook, committee member for the rodeo.
