Marjorie Eunice McKenzie (nee Charles) was born on Saturday, August 15, 1931 in Deschambault Lake, SK and passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Stanley Mission, SK at the age of 85 years. Marjorie is survived by her loving family: her sons, Ahab (Emily) McKenzie, Silas (Linda) McKenzie, Philip (Rose) McKenzie, Harry (Nora) McKenzie, Doug McKenzie and Wilfred (Flora) McKenzie; her daughters, Jean (Moses) McKenzie, Amelia (Wilson) Roberts, Rosie (Moses) Roberts and Bella (Layton) Roberts; her 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Edward Charles; her sister, Annie McKenzie; her step-sister, Elizabeth Charles; her aunt, Helen Visentine; and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Maggie (Mel) Neufeld, Florence Bonaise, Bella (Myles) Hardlotte, Eva (Charlie) McKenzie and Ray McKenzie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Cornelius McKenzie; her sons, Wilson Horace McKenzie and Edward William McKenzie; her daughter, Elizabeth McKenzie; her grandchildren, Ben H. McKenzie, Dwayne McKenzie, Janet McKenzie, Marjorie Ann McKenzie, Harry J. McKenzie and Eunice McKenzie; Her great-grandson, Travis McKenzie; her brother, Malachi (Frances) Charles; her sister, Lizzie McLeod; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth McKenzie; her father-in-law, George McKenzie; her step-mother-in-law, Betsy A. McKenzie; and her brothers-in-law, William “Bill” McKenzie, Murdock (Jeanne) McKenzie and Philip McKenzie; as well as numerous other relatives. A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission. Marjorie’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, Reverend Richard Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at Stanley Mission Cemetery.
