Mary Swales was born on Thursday, November 29, 1928 in Samburg, SK, and passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 89 years. 
Mary was the oldest of five children, she married Allan Swales in 1947 and moved to the West flat in P.A. where she was proud to have resided for over 60 years. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and quietly guiding them through lifes’ struggles. Mary was a humble person who loved unconditionally.
Mary is survived by her family, her son, Jim (Delores) of Prince Albert, SK, and their son, Wade (Celeste Maltais) and their children, Athan and Ellie, Greg (Carlene) and their daughter, Kohl; her son, Bill (Joan) of Prince Albert, SK, and their sons, Chetwin of Saskatoon, SK, and Jason of Beijing, and his daughter, Presley, and Tamara and her children, Courtney and Colten; her son, Tom (Marian De Jong) of Calabogie, ON, and his son, Daniel of Ottawa, ON; her daughter, Debbie (Barry) of Prince Albert, SK, and their son, Jason (Teresa) and their children, Thomas and Lauren; her sisters, Lena (Vern) Heringer of Prince Albert, SK, Elsie Rebryna of Saskatoon, SK, and Anne (Loren) Grant of Saskatoon, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was predeceased by her husband, Allan; her parents, John and Sophie Repula; her brother, Bill Repula. The family would like to thank Dr. Malhotra for her care of Mary during the past several years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 11 Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 0Z9. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at River Park Funeral Home, Pastor Dennis Serfas officiating. Interment to follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
