One house on 13th Street East in Prince Albert has been mentioned in various books on haunting in Saskatchewan and its right down the street.

Alycia Sawatzky’s home was built in 1912 and has apparently continued to carry its spiritual and physical history through the years.

More than 100 people lined the streets of Prince Albert’s Central Avenue to get a glimpse of the walking dead.

Wednesday at 6 p.m. around 35 zombies took to the streets as part of Family Futures, Inc. first Zombie Walk, and they had quite a large audience.

Highway overpass damage forces closure

The Highway 3/55 overpass at Hwy 2 has been closed after a collision early Wednesday morning.

According to a witness, at 12:30 a.m. a semi-truck carrying an over-height backhoe was travelling southbound on Hwy 2 when it struck the girders supporting the overpass.

UPDATED: Son of missing man charged with murder

The small community of Krydor is in shock after human remains were found Monday morning.

Blaine Lake RCMP and the RCMP Major Crime Unit North could not identify the body without an autopsy but have arrested Arnoldo Rey Jr, the son of the property's owner.

Halloween is just around the corner and Parkland Ambulance’s Lyle Karasiuk wants to make sure people of all ages who are celebrating stay safe.

“Safe simply means this: Make sure your costume is bright and light,” he said. By bright, he said he means that the costume is reflective.
