Speculation remains over who will replace Brad Wall
As the dust settled on Brad Wall’s retirement news, one question is set to dominate the political landscape: who will be the next premier of Saskatchewan?
There are plenty of names already being suggested, many of them current MLAs and ministers.
“I’m giving it significant consideration,” confirmed Jeremy Harrison, minister of the economy. “I’ve a young family we are going to have to have significant discussions there, it really isn’t a decision that anyone can take lightly.”
Kevin Doherty, the current finance minister, wouldn’t confirm or deny a run, but echoed Harrison that it is not an easy decision to make.
