Man recovering from gunshot wound; another man arrested

A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the leg on Tuesday night at a residence in North Battleford, according to Battlefords RCMP.
According to police, the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. at a residence located on the 1600 block of 104 St. The male victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Battlefords Union Hospital. The victim remains in hospital recovering from his injury.
A 45-year-old North Battleford man will be formally charged and remanded later today. RCMP say he will be making a court appearance on Thursday morning at North Battleford Provincial Court
