Melfort Fire responds to truck fire in Resource

A truck is a total loss after it caught fire in the Hamlet of Resource on Wednesday, July 29.

Melfort Fire and Rescue crews responded shortly after 9 p.m. and when they arrived, the truck was engulfed in flames which threatened nearby buildings. Crews were able to contain the fire near the buildings and extinguished the truck fire.

Crews used thermal imaging to make sure the hot spots were out before returning to base.
