Parkland Ambulance staff transported a woman to hospital with minor injuries after a motor vehicle accident early yesterday morning.
Lyle Karasiuk, director of public affairs for Parkland Ambulance, said paramedics responded to a collision at 20th St. and Central Ave. shortly after 5 a.m. March 25. At the time, the streets were coated in ice due to a large amount of freezing rain which fell the previous night.
Karasiuk said paramedics cared for a 35-year-old woman who suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was taken to hospital in good condition for further care.
