A male youth, and two adult males are facing multiple charges following a search warrant conducted by Meadow Lake RCMP on the weekend.
RCMP executed the search warrant on June 17 after receiving information that drugs were being sold to high school students from a residence on 6th Avenue West in Meadow Lake.
As a result of the search, RCMP seized drug paraphernalia, marijuana, cell phones, home-made weapons and un-prescribed Oxycodone from the residence.
The male youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The two adult males were also in the residence at the time RCMP were executing the warrant. One of the adult males was on warrant status for an unrelated incident and was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. The second was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The male youth was released, and will make his next court appearance in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on July 17, 2017.
