Church staircase torn to shreds by driver with medical condition

Evening mass went ahead as scheduled Tuesday night at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, despite a scary crash there just hours before.
 
Shortly after 5p.m., a car crashed into the wooden staircase, tearing it pieces. A church spokersperson told paNOW she was told by police the female driver suffered a seizeure while behind the wheel, and swerved off the main street.

Parkland Ambulance later confirmed one person was taken to hospital in good condition.
