Cochin murder case set for preliminary hearing

The case involving a man facing a charge of second degree murder in the Cochin area has been scheduled for a preliminary hearing.

Joshua Roy Tucker, 27, of Cochin, is facing the charge in connection with the death of 59-year-old Gordon Ernest Tucker — his father.

The accused appeared via video link in North Battleford Provincial Court on Wednesday.

The hearing is set to start Jan. 15. 

RCMP previously reported on May 31 investigators found the body of the deceased on a rural property southeast of Cochin.
