Battlefords RCMP looking for "extremely violent" male in shooting incident

The Battlefords RCMP are looking for a 24-year-old man in relation to the shooting of a woman earlier this week.
The woman arrived at the Battlefords Union Hospital with a gunshot wound on Tuesday. The female has since been reported to be in stable condition.
Norman “Percy” Bird is wanted on an arrest warrant for aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, carry a firearm in a careless manner, discharge a firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief under $5000 and breach of probation.
Bird is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 lbs with a slim build, short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck, the word ‘loyalty’ that is described as being hard to read.
