A second Meadow Lake RCMP cruiser was struck, the second one this month.

Around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 19, police responded to a complaint in Dorintosh regarding a group of intoxicated people in a vehicle. Officers located the car north of the Highway 4 and 55 junction.

While officers made an arrest the police cruiser was struck from behind by a second car. None of the officers were injured as they were outside the vehicle and able to avoid the collision. The man in custody was in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Officers transported him to the hospital as a precaution.

A female driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.
